On 22 May 2008, OECD held a side-event at the Ninth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 9) in Bonn, presenting recent OECD work on the economic aspects of biodiversity. The event was focused on the OECD publication "People and Biodiversity Policies: Impacts, Issues and Strategies for Policy Action, 2008 of biodiversity policies; the use of incentive measures in OECD countries to manage biodiversity and, new work on climate change and biodiversity.
