Study visit to Italy as part of the LEED project on the Local Integration of Immigrants into the Labour market (LIILM)

The LEED Programme carried out a study visit to Italy as part of the LEED project on the Local Integration of Immigrants into the Labour market (LIILM). The aim of the visit was to discuss with a wide range of stakeholders (regional and municipal representatives, officials in PES and in the social services, chambers of commerce, entrepreneurs associations, trade unions, immigrants associations, etc…) on the different initiatives taken by the regions/provinces/municipalities to promote the integration of immigrants into the labour market.

The OECD team was composed by two external experts: Mrs. Ankica Kosic (EU Institute of Florence) and Mr. Jonhatan Chaloff (Censis Foundation and Sopemi correspondent) and two LEED members: Ms. Andrea Hoffer (from the Trento Centre) and Elena Arnal (from LEED in Paris).

A case study report will be prepared in the next months by the rapporteur of the OECD team and will be ready by Autumn.
