    Special B20-OECD-BIAC Session: Mapping the Work of the G20 against Megatrends and Future Policy Needs in a Shifting World

    Looking ahead to the 2016 Chinese G20 presidency, the OECD will continue to support G20 and B20 work and the priorities of the incumbent presidency by providing its tailored expertise and policy findings with an emphasis on the new, more inclusive and innovation-driven, growth model. We at the OECD remain convinced that this path of “inclusive and innovative growth” is the right way to pave the way forward with the B20 and BIAC.

    G20 Turkish Presidency/OECD Stocktaking Seminar on Global Value Chains

En dehors de nos travaux avec le Mexique et le Chili, deux de nos membres les plus actifs, la Colombie et le Costa Rica sont en processus d’accession à l’OCDE. Nous travaillons aussi dans un grand nombre de domaines avec d’autres pays de la région à travers notre Initiative pour l’Amérique latine présentée en 2009.

Despite the importance of the transport sector, it remains heavily regulated. Furthermore, transport policy can and should play a role in tackling climate change.

    Meeting of the OECD Council - Introduction of Spanish Employment and Social Security Minister Fátima Báñez

    The Minister is here today to tell us more about her experience, also with regard to the broader area of social security and pensions. But the important lesson that I would like to stress before yielding her the floor is precisely the importance of standing by our members when we know that their policies point in the right direction and they need time to see the results.
