OECD Eurasia Week 2016

 

 

Productivity and Resilience, 22-24 November 2016

The OECD Eurasia Week creates an opportunity to further strengthen relations between the countries of the region and the OECD. It serves as a platform for a discussion on a broad specturm of thematic issues relevant to further improving the region's competitiveness.

The theme for the 2016 edition of the OECD Eurasia Week was "Productivity and Resilience" and the event was structured around:

  • the annual meeting of the Steering Committees of the OECD Eastern Europe and South Caucasus Initiative and the OECD Central Asia Initiative
  • the annual meeting of the OECD Eurasia Competitiveness Roundtable, with peer reviews of Belarus and Mongolia, as well as monitoring reviews of Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Moldova
  • the third edition of the Eurasia Business Forum
  • Regional Dialogue Discussions designed to encourage knowledge-sharing with respect to common challenges in the region
  • two thematic panels on "Improving Trade and Transport Connectivity" and "Labour Market Resilience and Productivity".
