CCXG Workshop on Reporting Tables for GHG Inventories

2-3-4 February 2021
11:00 - 17:00
Paris, France
Virtual Meeting

This CCXG workshop enabled participants to develop a shared understanding of issues relevant to the transparency discussions on the development of Common Reporting Tables (CRTs) for the reporting of national GHG inventories under the Enhanced Transparency Framework of the Paris Agreement. During the workshop, participants had the opportunity to enhance their understanding of the current Common Reporting Format (CRF) tables and related reporting tools currently in use by Annex I Parties for the reporting of their national GHG inventories under the UNFCCC. Participants also had the opportunity to share experiences and views on the challenges and opportunities that the current reporting system offers so as to provide further inputs into the CRT discussions.

Participants included practitioners and negotiators from governments from a wide variety of countries, covering all major negotiating groups as well as delegates from inter-governmental organisations, the private sector, research organisations, and other relevant institutions.
