OECD at One Planet Summit

12 December 2017, La Seine Musicale, Île Seguin, Boulogne-Billancourt

The President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, the President of the World Bank Group, Jim Yong Kim, and the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, addressed the ecological emergency for our planet by calling together in Paris international leaders and committed citizens from around the world.

Together, on 12 December 2017, at La Seine Musicale, Île Seguin, Boulogne-Billancourt, they launched an ambitious project to win the battle against climate change. 12 commitments were made, the One Planet Coalition was created. It will ensure that the commitments are kept. The coming months will be dedicated to implementing the commitments and we will meet again next year for a project meeting: the second One Planet Summit.

OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría participated in Panel 4: Strengthening policies for ecological and inclusive transition.
