eChemPortal: Global Portal to Information on Chemical Substances

What's new

Access the European Chemicals Agency’s Biocides database from the OECD eChemPortal

365 biocidal active substances records are now available in eChemPortal

The European Chemicals Agency database provides information on biocidal active substances approved, not approved or under assessment under the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR). Users will find information on biocidal active substances manufactured or imported in Europe. The information originates from the assessment reports, submitted by the Member State Competent Authorities in the framework of the Biocidal Products Regulation.

This addition improves accessibility to chemical hazard and risk assessment data on biocides substances for governments, scientists and industry.”

Free webinars and training events will be organised upon request to echemportal@oecd.org.

The OECD is pleased to announce the release of version v3.8 of eChemPortal on 14 October 2021.

This maintenance release includes an improvement of the Property Search allowing users to select all values/units in fields containing a list of units to avoid the need to add a query block per non-convertible unit.”
