The launch of the OECD Economic Survey for Norway with the special Jobs Strategy chapter “Maintaining high employment” took place in Oslo on the 9th of December 2019, with the Norwegian Minister of Finance Siv Jensen and OECD Director of the Country Studies Branch Álvaro Santos Pereira.

2nd High-Level Policy Forum and Launch of the new OECD Jobs Strategy

The OECD Jobs Strategy was officially launched 4 December 2018 at a joint event organised by the OECD and the French Ministry of Labour. Among the participants were the French, Spanish, Greek, and Chilean Ministers of Labour, Secretaries of states from Canada and Portugal, and Oliver Blanchard. 

High-Level Policy Forum on the new OECD Jobs Strategy

This event was hosted by German Minister Andrea Nahles together with Secretary-General Angel Gurría. The Forum was a key milestone for Ministers of Labour and Employment to discuss their main policy priorities and how these could be best reflected in the new Jobs Strategy.
