Reflecting the extreme uncertainty related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the June Economic Outlook presented two scenarios for each country and economy – one scenario predicting a second outbreak in all economies towards the end of this year and an alternative scenario where the second outbreak was avoided. Given this uncertainty, a smaller set of variables was projected compared with previous Economic Outlooks.
