A presente avaliação diz respeito ao setor da educação, especificamente ao ensino secundário, nos seguintes eixos de intervenção do Projeto: parque escolar melhorado e reforçado; competências técnicas dos professores melhoradas; capacidade de gestão e acompanhamento reforçada; sistema de ensino mais adaptado às necessidades do país e às interligações entre eles.

Meta-evaluation of KOICA's TVET program : a case study on Vietnam
This evaluation aims to examine the effectiveness of KOICA's technical and vocational education and training projects (TVET). In particular, in cases where the TVET sector is selected as a priority sector in the government-wide Country Partnership Strategy. It aims to inspect whether the context of a specific country is properly reflected to achieve results for individual projects and for the TVET sector as a whole.

Thanks to the establishment of the IT college, many Danang IT major hopefuls are now able to get involved in the quality IT training, consequently providing well-qualified IT workers in the community. Also, it helped vitalize the local market economy as well as contributed to attract some enterprises in the IT complex in Danang such as IT Park and hi-tech Zone.

Ex-post Evaluation Report on the Project for the Establishment of Industrial Training Center in Thagaya, Myanmar
More than 600 students have been educated at Industrial Training Center Thagaya since 2009, with more than 63% of the graduates being employed since 2010. The newer, higher quality equipment at Industrial Training Center Thagaya also helped improve the quality of labor, providing a positive influence on the local and domestic industry in Myanmar. As a result, this project was evaluated as being very effective.

Ex-post Evaluation Report on the Project for Upgrading Jaffna Technical College as a College of Technology - Sri Lanka
The project was not able to meet the student enrollment or graduation rates. However, 379 students were educated and trained in the four departments of the Jaffna College of Technology in 2013, with another 31 students are expected to graduate from the ICT Department in 2014. Therefore, the project was evaluated as being somewhat effective.

Impact Measuring the Quest of the Grail? Ex Post Impact Evaluation of Four Bilateral Cooperation Projects
This first pilot evaluation objective was both to report on the outcomes and the impact of four governmental projects and to learn from experience with a view to improving Belgian cooperation practices in the field of impact evaluation. The evaluation concludes to the relevance of combining qualitative and quantitative methods in the same evaluation process.
