The OECD-Latin America Roundtable on Corporate Governance works to facilitate public and private sector policy dialogue by providing:

• A forum for the exchange of experiences between senior policy makers, regulators and market participants;

• Research, policy advice and practical input to promote good corporate governance policies and practices consistent with the G20/OECD Principles of Corporate Governance.

The Roundtable was established in April 2000. Its participants include government officials and stakeholders from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Spain and additional OECD countries.

In 2017, the Roundtable established a Task Force on Latin American Equity Market Development to review the state of the region’s equity markets and to propose avenues of further research to underpin improvements to their development. The insights from the Task Force feed into the work of the Roundtable.

MEETINGS

2023 Meeting of the Latin America Roundtable on Corporate Governance, 27-28 November, 2023 | São Paulo, Brazil | The meeting will be the regional launch event of the revised G20/OECD Principles of Corporate Governance. The agenda will also include the presentation of the 2023 edition of the Corporate Governance Factbook, as well as discussions on, among other topics, sustainability and resilience, the responsibility of boards, institutional investors, debtholder rights, state‑owned enterprises, and capital market development.
