OECD member countries have launched an ambitious action plan to address weaknesses in corporate governance that are related to the financial crisis. An important part of this programme is to engage and seek advice from key stakeholders. Following the Global consultation on corporate governance and the financial crisis in Paris on the 18 March, the OECD conducted an online public consultation which came to an end on 30 April 2009.
The OECD received 22 submissions together with a paper about risk management. They do not necessarily reflect the views of the OECD or its member countries. The OECD wishes to express its appreciation to all those who participated. They will provide input to a set of recommendations that the OECD plans to issue later this year.
