The OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru held the third LAC-DAC Dialogue on Development Co-operation on 2-3 December 2021. The Dialogue brought together 150 representatives from 21 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), 25 DAC member countries, 3 DAC Participants and Observers and 5 multilateral organisations.
The third LAC-DAC Dialogue was framed in the context of the global fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences among Latin American and Caribbean countries (LAC) and the members of the OECD Development Assistance Committee on topics related to the role of international development co-operation in the context of COVID-19. Topics for discussions included:
> Creating resilience, tackling inequalities and strengthening health systems > Financing for sustainable development to support building back sustainably from COVID-19 > Digital and technological transition in development cooperation
