OECD's Gurría condemns deadly attack in Tunis and sends condolences to the country's authorities

OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría has sent letters to the President of Tunisia, the Prime Minister and the President of the National Assembly expressing his condolences and those of all OECD staff following the deadly attack that took place in Tunis this week.

"The OECD stands in solidarity with Tunisia after this terrible event that has resulted in the loss of so many lives, including many nationals from OECD member countries. We send our deepest condolences to all those affected and strongly condemn this inhuman, barbaric and cowardly attack. I am particularly touched as I was in Tunis a week ago and met with the country's authorities to discuss how we can best support their development efforts. Now, more than ever, our Organisation is at the service of all Tunisians," said Mr Gurría.
