Visit of the OECD Secretary-General to Japan (Tokyo, 11th-14th October 2012)


During his visit to Japan, the Secretary-General will take part in the International Monetary Fund and World Bank Annual Meetings, G8 Deauville Partnership Finance Meeting and G20 Troika dinner hosted by the Mexican Presidency.  He will also give a key note address to the International Institute of Finance 30th Anniversary Annual Membership Meeting.

As part of his official visit, the Secretary-General plans to meet with:

  • Mr. Koriki Jyojima, Finance Minister, Japan
  • Mr. Michael Noonan, Finance Minister, Ireland
  • Mr. Seiji Maehara, State Minister in charge of national strategy and economic policy, Japan
  • Mr. Toshihiro Nikai, former Minister of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan
  • Mr. Motoo Hayashi, MP, former Chairman, National Public Safety Committee, Japan
