Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, delivered remarks at the G20 Anti-Corruption Minister Meeting, on 22 October 2020. It was the first G20 Anti-Corruption Ministerial Meeting and will result in the adoption of the Anti-Corruption Ministerial Declaration. The Secretary-General’s intervention was an opportunity to call for G20 countries’ commitments to combatting foreign bribery and effective implementation of public sector integrity standards, in particular in the context of Covid-19 crisis, and welcome further G20 work on international cooperation on corruption and other economic crime.
