Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, participated in the Summit on Financing African economies, on 18 May 2021.

The event was convened by Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of France, and gathered African and partner Leaders, including the Heads of international financial institutions, with the view to devise jointly actions that will help boost a strong and inclusive recovery in Africa, grounded in a dynamic private sector, and to foster prosperity and accelerate the green and digital transition in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.
