Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, delivered opening remarks at the second roundtable of the OECD Global Initiative on Digital for SMEs, on 3 February 2021, alongside Mr. Stuart Nash, New Zealand’s Minister for Economic and Regional Development, Forestry, Small Business and Tourism, and Mr. Robert Troy, Ireland’s Minister of State for Trade Promotion, Digital and Company Regulation. The speech focused on the key messages in the new OECD report, The Digital Transformation of SMEs, and the opportunities and challenges related to digitalisation and SMEs’ responses to COVID-19.
