Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, delivered remarks in the opening session of the 20th edition of the International Economic Forum on Africa on the theme Investing for a sustainable recovery in Africa, 22 February 2021.

The event was organised by the OECD Development Centre and the African Union Commission, under the aegis of Mr. Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal. The Secretary-General spoke along with Mr. Moussa Faki Mahamat, President, African Union Commission; Mrs. Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, European Union; Mr. Yoshihide Suga, Prime Minister of Japan and Mr. Andry Rajoelina, President of the Republic of Madagascar.
