Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD in Washington, 10-13 April 2014

 

Mr. Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the OECD, was in Washington from 10 to 13 April 2014, to attend the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FM&CBG) meetings and the IMF/World Bank Spring Meetings.
At the G20 FM&CBG meetings, the Secretary-General delivered OECD contributions to the discussions on “Global economy and Growth Strategies” and on “Investment”.


While in Washington, Mr. Gurría also held bilateral meetings with several US senior officials, attended a meeting of the Global Commission on the New Climate Economy and launched with World Bank President Jim Yong Kim a new OECD/World Bank publication “Making Innovation Policy Work - Learning from Experimentation”.
