Akiyoshi Yonezawa is Associate Professor of National Institution for Academic Degrees and University Evaluation (NIAD-UE).  His main research topic is the comparative research in the field of quality assurance of higher education, private higher education and its market mechanism.  He has experiences of working at the University of Tokyo, Hiroshima University, and has been involved in the activities of OECD, UNESCO-CEPES, etc.  He is a member of editorial advisory board of Higher Education Management and Policy, and Higher Education Research and Development.
