Overview

A seminar on Innovations and challenges in the management of a regional policy held in Bratislava, Slovak Republic, 22 February 2017 drew together experts in the field of regional development policy. It was organised by the  Plenipotentiary of the Government for the Support of the Lagging Regions  in Slovakia. The objectives of the seminar were to discuss recent trends, challenges and innovations in regional policy practices of OECD countries, with a focus on place-based policies and governance arrangements to support the development of lagging regions.
