Migrants' Skills and the Labour Market

"Matching economic migration with labour market needs": This project launched in 2011 by the European Commission and the OECD aims to provide new insights on the policies needed to ensure that economic migration can effectively respond to labour market needs in the current European demographic context.

It led to two publications:

A policy brief in association to the second publication, has been released as well.

The OECD Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC) also allows to analyse migrants' skill levels, returns, transferability and use.
