The 2018 update of the OECD database on transboundary movements of wastes is now available for download. Since 1992, transboundary movements of recyclable wastes between OECD countries are regulated by the Council Decision C(2001)107, which was established by the OECD Council, and designed as an agreement under Article 11 of the Basel Convention.

The tax-to-GDP ratio in Israel increased by 1.4 percentage points, from 31.3% in 2016 to 32.7% in 2017. The corresponding figures for the OECD average were an increase of 0.2 percentage points from 34.0% to 34.2% over the same period.

Israel had the 31st lowest tax wedge among the 35 OECD member countries in 2017. The country occupied the same position in 2016. The average single worker in Israel faced a tax wedge of 22.1% in 2017 compared with the OECD average of 35.9%.
