Follow-up-Report-on-CompraNet-Reform

9 January 2019

This report follows up on the implementation of the 14 short-term recommendations included in the Roadmap of the OECD Review Mexico's e-Procurement System: Redesigning CompraNet through stakeholder engagement. It evaluates the actions undertaken until November 2018 by the Ministry of Public Administration (SFP) to guide the upgrade of the CompraNet system towards the objectives set out in the vision statement for the tool. The follow-up report includes inputs from stakeholders such as contracting authorities, the business sector, and civil society. Likewise, it identifies actions that can be undertaken in the medium and long-terms to reform CompraNet towards a more effective tool to achieve value in the use of public funds and enable the migration towards a fully transactional system.
