About the OECD

Modern information and communication technologies play a fundamental role in the activities of an organisation like the OECD which operates at an international level. The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is based in France. It monitors trends and forecasts economic and social developments and provides OECD governments and other target audiences with information on its activities. Much of the research and analysis is published: from press releases and regular compilations of data to one-time publications and is available free or paying on our Web sites.

The OECD maintains Web sites at its Paris headquarters as well as at its Publication and Information Centres worldwide.
