Co-chairs: Mr. Matti Nummelin (Finland) and Mr. Timothée Ourbak (France)
Meeting background and objectives:
This meeting focused on how development co-operation can support the implementation of integrated approaches to managing climate risks that link financial protection tools (such as insurance and social protection) with climate change adaptation. This will build on the insights from the two case studies undertaken this year in Colombia and Senegal. These two case studies and a synthesis paper will be circulated prior to the meeting.
