Launch of the PISA 2025 Science Framework

Do we teach young people the science skills that matter? And do young people leave school with the scientific understanding they need to make an informed decision about how to deal with environmental changes, health risks, and other challenges that require personal action from each of us? The OECD and 90 countries around the world have decided to work together to find out, as part of PISA 2025.

Oxford University Press and the OECD invited teachers, students and all other interested parties to an online event to launch the PISA 2025 Science Framework on 15 June 2023. The event featured expert panel conversation, bringing together some of the experts behind the Framework and other leading figures in the science education community, to explore issues related to science and sustainability.
