    OECD at COP21: Supporting climate action in development co-operation

    The DAC ENVIRONET is supporting sustainable development in partner countries by monitoring development finance for climate change, providing policy insights and recommendations to the development community regarding climate change, and contributing to the post-2015 sustainable development agenda.

    Ninth Meeting of the National Focal Points for Policy Coherence

    With the adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development as background, this meeting will provide an important opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities of SDG implementation. We will discuss how to draw on and adapt current PCD mechanisms to mobilise the whole government and enhance policy coherence for sustainable development in implementing the SDGs.

    UNDP-OECD DevCom Workshop “Let’s talk about the SDGs”, 23 October 2015

    This Workshop took place just weeks after the UN Sustainable Development Summit and adoption of the SDGs. It was held on 23 October, back-to-back with the 2015 Annual Meeting of the OECD Development Communications Network (DevCom), which brings together the communication teams of bilateral and multilateral development organisations.

    OECD Development Week 2015

    The Development Week, organised by the Development Centre, convenes at OECD a series of strategic meetings that offer an inclusive setting and opportunity for policy dialogue and knowledge sharing among a large set of development stakeholders, including member countries of the Development Centre, high-level policy makers, representatives of the private sector, investors, civil society organisations, foundations and think tanks.

    Africa Forum 2015: Africa Beyond 2015

    The Africa Forum is the annual gathering where OECD and African policy makers, private sector representatives, academics and civil society leaders meet to debate the performance of African economies and the challenges ahead. The 2015 edition, in Berlin on 9 September, will focus on Africa’s development agenda beyond 2015.

    OSAA-OECD high-level event on leveraging pension funds for financing infrastructure development in Africa

    Addis Ababa - Part of the 3rd International Conference on Financing for Development, this event explored strategies to leverage Africa’s pension funds and other sources of private financing to develop Africa’s infrastructure. Ways to improve the investment climate in Africa using the recently updated Policy Framework for Investment were also be addressed.
