This conference focused on best practices on empowering consumers by helping them to navigate financial education and consumer protection in the digital age.
The event:
Delegates from around the world, specifically Asian-Pacific countries and economies, attended the conference. Officials and experts from the OECD International Network on Financial Education (INFE), members of the G20/OECD Task Force on financial consumer protection, representatives of ministries of finance, central banks, regulatory and supervisory authorities, governmental officials, as well as international organisations, the academic community, the private sector and NGOs also attended. The event was co-organised by the Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and the Organisation for Economic Co‑operation and Development (OECD). The OECD contribution to this event was supported by the Government of Japan. |
