The Third Meeting of Working Group IV on Public Service Delivery, Public-Private Partnerships and Regulatory Reform took place in Tunis on 16 February 2007. Delegates reviewed past activities of Working Group IV, shaped its program of work for 2007 and assessed future co-operation prospects. The meeting  focused on concrete targets for future regional capacity-building and the key elements necessary for deepening regional co-operation, in particular:

• the drafting of a regional charter for regulatory quality;
• regulatory guidelines and toolkits;
• pilot projects for regulatory impact assessment and other peer-to-peer co-operation and partnership projects;

The outcomes of the Working Group IV meeting will be reassessed at the OECD Working Party Meeting on Regulatory Policy in Paris on 4 May 2007 that will review the activities launched in Tunis.
