OECD Secretary-General was in Tokyo on 13-14 April 2017, on an official visit to Japan. During his visit, he presented the OECD Economic Survey of Japan 2017 and held hold bilateral meetings with several High Level Officials.

The Secretary-General was in Frankfurt on 16 March 2017 attending the 2017 IIF G20 Conference “The G20 Agenda under the German Presidency” where he delivered a keynote speech on “Benefits of trade and globalisation” at the session on “Global Economy and Trade”.

The Secretary-General was in Baden-Baden on 17-18 March 2017 to attend the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting. While in Baden-Baden, he also presented the OECD Going for Growth report, hold bilateral meetings and attend the G20 High-Level Symposium: Global Economic Governance in a Multipolar World.

The Secretary-General presented the 2017 Economic Survey of Spain alongside Mr. Luis de Guindos, Minister of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness. He also had an audience with HRM Felipe VI, King of Spain, delivered a lecture on the global economic outlook at Fundación CaixaBank, opened a seminar on innovation and the digital economy at Fundación Areces and participated in a panel on corporate governance at Instituto de Empresa.
